There is a discussion on what are the first GPS golf for 2010. I believe it is five or six candidates. Personally, if I want to find out what best-sellers in each category are a few to check the major online retailers, including Amazon. So, I am supporting this article on Amazon's top three vendors in 2010.
Top of the best GPS for the year 2010 for the game of golf is the Garmin approach G5. This is a rather high-end model compared to the price. It 's a great, gotwaterproof touch-screen, you can easily see in direct sunlight. One thing I like about Garmin GPS products in general, the fact that there is no annual fee. This is not true of all GPS for Golf! In addition, the Garmin approach G5 with U.S. rates is pre-installed.
The nearest golf course is at the top of the GolfLogix GPS Garmin GPS. The GolfLogix is a step in the strategy in both price and functionality, but this does not mean that GPS is not a lot for the sport. It is. It has a largeuser-friendly display. It instantly calculates the distance from wherever you are to the front, middle, and back of the green. Unlike the Approach G5, it doesn't give you an actual picture of the green. Just the distances. For many golfers, however, this is enough.
On the low-end of the price spectrum is the IZZO Swami 1500. The Swami can calculate the distance to the front, middle, and back of the green. Stores up to 10 courses at a time. And, it's really easy to use. The IZZO Swami compete more with the Garmin GolfLogix than it does with the G5 approach. I think the Garmin GolfLogix approach seems to be a hot seller, because the name of Garmin. Other people know how Garmin IZZO Swami.
Certainly these are not the only top golf GPS devices on the market. But according to Amazon, these are the first in 2010.
